Velvet Monkey Hair Salon provided a unique challenge as I wanted it to be open to people from all walks of life. The goal was to design something that would be open to all genders while still giving off a fun and funky vibe that the name entails. The salon’s target audience was looking for chic and luxury with a twist of bold. I ended up picking the logo that I felt was natural with a touch of sass paired with a typeface that felt equally funky yet professional. The color choices were a pairing that complimented the style of the logo while remaining true to the brand.
